extensionId not sent with SMS from latest RingCentral desktop app?

We have a 3rd party application that pulls in call and SMS data from the API and uses the RingCentral extensionId to identify the sender or receiver as a staff member.

We have a staff member using the latest version of the newest RingCentral app: https://www.ringcentral.com/desktop-app.html#ring-poc-non-promo.

However, when she sends or receives SMS via this version of the app, the extensionId does not seem to be included in the data.

Any ideas?

Can you show me one example of a message which has the extension id? According to the API reference, the message-store return a list of message items for an extension w/o the extension id (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Message-Store/listMessages). You can be assured that all the outbound messages belong to the extension you are logged in to read the messages.

I see no difference between message sent out from the RC app or from the RC mobile app or RC softphone.
