For High Volume messages in a batch, is "id" unique in the whole message-store scope or is it unique only in the batch scope?

In the image shown above, we want to confirm that can there be two messages in two different batches having the same ids? i.e. whether the id is unique only in a batch context?

It is unique across batches.
