API call to re-send welcome emails?

I'm very new to REST API's, but is there any way to re-send a welcome email via? I'm struggling to find anything like this in the documentation.

Not asking someone to do this for me, just want to know if it's even possible before sinking more time into it.

I can't find any API to do that so it's most probably not supported.

The concrete expiration of the welcome email is already cumbersome. I can't believe there is no option to make re-sending a valid link any easier...
