Hello, we got an email from RingCentral saying we need to allow an certain IP range though out firewall for performance purposes. If we are using fax only services, can someone tell me if we need to do this? Thank you.
New IP Range
In your case I would ignore the email from RingCentral if you are already using fax and it is working in both directions. If you have not tested and have not started using the system yet, it might be important to keep in mind there are 2 kinds of fax with ringcentral:
1. internet fax through email or their app, without a physical fax device.
2. a physical fax device, usually connected trough an ATA to a router.
