Hello there. I’m a new Ring Central Contact Center user and would like to know if there is a robust tutorial on reporting and dashboard building for my center. It’s a bit of a struggle now without direct access to a RingCentral admin. 

It is possible to have both extensions and park locations set up in the HUD, with the park locations showing first? Currently, no matter what order I add members to the HUD, the extensions and parks are segregated, and the parks come last. I need more flexibility with my set up. Anyone know a way? Thank yoU!RObin

In addition to high volume of marketing emails, anyone with notification by email settings are getting a blurb in each and every email notice sent? I opted out of communications in the subscription center just to cut down on the volume from “Joe Fahrner” trying to sell me AIR (and now sending those repetitive emails to other staff!).  Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to remove or opt out the promo copy being appended to notifications by email. The promo text is larger and more prominent than the actual content.AIR fatigue at this point.  

Hi All,  I have successfully downloaded the extension and connected it to my HighLevel account. I can go ahead and click to make calls and that works without issue. However, the calls are no longer being logged in the conversation record of HighLevel. I’ve tried everything from looking at the settings, logging out, signing back in, nothing is working to get calls to log. I was testing this extension just a few weeks ago and it was working fine at that time. Went ahead and removed the extension a few weeks ago and re-installed it yesterday. Since the re-install, no calls will log. Is there anyone that would be so kind to help me out here.  Thanks in advance! Mike

Just wondering if there is a way to only subscribe to RingSense/ACE events for certain extensionId’s (similar to presence events, Telephony events, etc.) instead of having to receive webhooks for everyone in our account with ACE access.

Is there a way we can add branding and customizations to RingCX real time dashboards? From what I can see you cannot.I tried adding the dashboard URL into an iFrame for embedding into HTML but this didn’t work, unless there is another supported method for embedding dashboards?

I have several “users” in different time zones across the US and each user is set to their specific time zone in the user details ->settings and permissions ->regional settings. When I review the call logs, all calls are time stamped to the east coast (I am unclear if that is due to my corporate HQ location or my own user location, both east coast). How can I pull call logs so that calls are time stamped in accordance to when they were received at their respective time zones?

This question seems to have been repeatedly answered years ago, but the interface in Ring Central Admin does not match the solution nowadays. Where do I (admin) reset a users voicemail PIN? This option used to exist previously, but now when I search for it, the option no longer exists (for any user).   I am looking in ‘Users with Extension’ then Phone then Voicemail Settings.  But there is no option to reset PIN.

The users in my office often have the RingCentral Desktop software installed, but also have a physical desk phone. Some users prefer to have the incoming call rules configured to only allow the desk phone to ring, and turn the app off. This used to work, but now it seems that even when you turn off “desktop app” in the incoming call rules, it still rings on the desktop. We are currently running an analog phone paging system. Our users dial 77 from their Polycom phones and RingCentral desktop app, then announce the page after the beep. This is done over speakers on our factory floor. We want to terminate the analog line and move paging to RingCentral using a Cyber Data SIP Paging Adapter. If we do this, can we continue to use 77 as the extension for paging the same way as we currently do?

Hi Everyone, I have Mitel 485G phones and we use RingCentral. A few months back, I was following this guide to set up my phones in RC. These steps are no longer working for me. After I set the configuration server, the phone reboots and hits me with a “no service” message.  Does anyone know of any other ways to add the phone to RC? Thank you. 

We have several staff members who are assigned to their department’s phone queue. From time to time, they may also need to answer calls from a different queue. I have added them to those additional queues, but it does not appear that users can opt in or out of individual queues separately. Instead, the only available setting seems to be “accept calls from queue” for all queues they belong to. It would be very helpful if users could choose which specific queues they are actively accepting calls from. That would eliminate the need to manually add and remove staff members at different times, especially when they do not need to receive calls from the secondary queue on a regular basis.
