App Connect v2.0.0 with Clio. On internal extension-to-extension calls, App Connect displays an unrelated Clio contact as the caller instead of the RingCentral user. What we seeCalls from ext 107 display as a medical provider company contact in Clio. Calls from ext 106 display as an individual client contact in Clio. Neither user's direct number (or any variation) exists anywhere in Clio. We scanned all ~5,500 contacts.Root cause we identifiedApp Connect appears to search Clio with the bare extension number. Clio's contact search is a general text search, so "107" matches a contact whose street address contains "#107," and "106" matches a contact whose street address begins with "106." App Connect then displays the top result. Searching Clio's API with query=107 and query=106 returns exactly those contacts first.ImpactEvery internal call shows a wrong name, which confuses staff. Call-pop opens unrelated client records in Clio. If internal calls were ever logged, they would attach to the

I saw the related HubSpot discussion stating that RingEX does not support voicemail drop natively. My question is specifically about the voicemail-drop feature documented for App Connect:https://appconnect.labs.ringcentral.com/users/voicemail-drop/I would like to develop a custom HubSpot connector for App Connect using RingCentral RingEX, with HubSpot contact lookup and call activity logging. Can a custom CRM connector reuse App Connect’s existing voicemail-drop feature, including its AI transfer, beep detection, and recording playback service? Are there any licensing, provisioning, or connector requirements? Also, which current developer documentation and starter project should I use?I have posted the fuller technical questions on GitHub: ringcentral/rc-unified-crm-extension#253

I’m using RC and Pipedrive for 3 months now and its working just fine. RC logs all calls to Pipedrive. However, just today, it stopped syncing and there is no option in RC app connect to log it to Pipedrive.I uninstall and reinstall, clear cache, and everything basic stuff. What I observe in Settings that indicated NO CRM selected, but when I clicked it, there is no dropdown option. After I refresh the page, this option is no longer visible, thus RC app connect cant linked to my Pipedrive

Hi,I’m new to RingCentral and I bought an HID Jabra Evolve3 85 to pair with my Mac so I could answer and end calls and have more control on the desktop app. However the problem has arisen that I cannot end a call if there is more than one person on the call. I have an AI notetaker app that gets added into a lot of my calls and it’s annoying that I can’t just double tap to end the call. Any advice?

This seems to be different than the topic regarding Live Report status after a warm transfer from several years back.Users report performing a warm transfer to an external number as is their normal workflow, but only in the last few weeks has it occasionally left them “unavailable” and prevented them from receiving more calls until they notice they’re still unavailable. My understanding is that the Live Reports sometimes still shows them as “on a call”, but the user’s application always shows them as “On a call” until they manually make themselves available again.

While logged in and status at ‘Available’, Ringcentral is increasingly dropping to ‘Offline’ with no warning or notification preventing customers to call direct to the Consultant. Any ideas on what may be causing this or tips to rectify any issues?

App Connect 2.0.0 – Redtail CRM creating unwanted Activities instead of NotesSince the recent upgrade to App Connect 2.0.0, manually logging a completed telephone call creates an outstanding Activity in Redtail CRM under "Things to do today."Previously, entering an Activity Title and Note in the App Connect widget saved the information to the contact's Notes without generating an outstanding task.Automatic call logging is OFF. Under More → Settings → Redtail options, only Default Category and Timezone are available. This appears similar to a previously acknowledged Redtail integration bug from ~ 1 year ago. See “Redtail CRM creating activities from Call Log”Can the App Connect development team confirm whether this is a regression in version 2.0.0 and provide a fix or workaround? We would like to restore our previous call-logging workflow without creating outstanding Activities.

I updated the Jabra software yesterday. Today, the headset is flashing red and it is emitting a constant ring. I can still use the softphone by using my cellphone instead of the headset, so the phone itself is not affected. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting the headset. I’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in. I’ve toggled some settings both on Jabra and on RingCentral.

We’re a small insurance brokerage in Ontario, Canada (RingEX). Many of our clients are Spanish-speaking, and most of our service calls are fully in Spanish. We have Automatic call notes turned on, but Spanish calls are transcribed as if they were English. The transcript comes out as nonsense, and the AI Notes summary is unusable (“largely unintelligible”). English calls work fine.In the app’s AI settings, I only see the Translate to language option. I don’t see any way to set the spoken language of the call. The Admin Portal doesn’t show any transcription language settings either.Questions:Does Automatic Call Notes support Spanish transcription on RingEX in Canada? Is there a way to set the call language per user (e.g., Spanish for specific extensions), either in the app or the Admin Portal? Is automatic language detection (transcribe in whatever language is spoken) available, or on the roadmap? Has anyone found a workaround, such as a third-party integration that transcribes RingCentra

I already walked thru a help chat 2 weeks ago on this issue and it is still happening.  My desk phone rings, i pick it up to answer and it keeps ringing, will never allow me to take the call, then goes to the computer app,  then the app on my cell phone.  I want to only use my desk phone when I’m in office and use the computer app or my cell when I am working remote.  This should be as simple as the press of a button to use my desk phone when I am in office and it’s not.  Any tips for this constantly annoying issue?
