Poly Studio x52 RingCentral Rooms

Recently set up Poly Studio x52, the device works great for a few days and then the mic and camera go offline. RingCentral app doesn't see the mic or camera on Admin portal. I have opened a ticket with HP and sent them logs however, I wonder if anyone on here has had the issue. The device works with other platforms just fine. (I.E. Zoom and Teams)Room System version 24.2.30 (Studio x52)Room Controller version 24.2.35 (Poly TC10)

Unable to Start or Join meeting - MacBook Pro M3

Hi,I am running into an issue where I am unable to start or join a meeting on my new MacBook Pro M3. When I click Join Meeting or Start Meeting, the message pops up saying 'joining' or 'starting', but then just hangs - the meeting window does not open.I have deleted and reinstalled the app, shut down and restarted the MacBook, and have tried to change setting to use RingCentral Video rather than RingCentral Meetings - but nothing has worked.Has anyone experienced similar on a Mac and have any information?

Weird pop-ups during meetings

I just switched to a new MAC, and the weirdest pop-ups just start showing up in my meetings without me pressing anything. Thumbs-up, balloons, etc. I have special effects turned off and never pressed a reaction. What is this, and how can I make it stop? I use Ring Central for meetings all the time, and this is really strange.

Why did you remove Meeting Polls (NOT webinar)

It wasn't great, but there use to be a way to make a poll for Ring Central meetings in your account ahead of the meeting. Unlike others (Zoom, 8x8, Teams, Webex) where you can create a poll in a meeting on the fly. Now that function seems to be completely gone. No warning. I see however, Ring promoting very hard, its new Webinar mode which has a polling function. Now I see why our new price offer was lower - because Ring intends to recoup that per-user video license decrease with other fees in Webinars to get the features we use to get? There were no warnings in the product update e-mails I get to say this was going to be stripped away. Nor do Webinars meet our need - we do MEETINGS, not webinars, and we use polls in meetings with our clients and our staff. Please explain why you made this change, and if you indeed to repair and restore this function that we paid for.

Scheduled Meeting does not appear on Video Meetings page

Running Desktop App version 23.1.22.6903. My RingCentral is connected to a google calendar. I follow the steps to schedule a video meeting for tomorrow at 6pm. I choose to use the copy paste method of inviting attendees and click on schedule the meeting. The message tells me that the video meeting is successfully scheduled, however the meeting does not appear in the Upcoming meetings area.How do I get this functionality to work correctly ?

STOP RC from starting a web browser when I click on a mtg from an outlook calendar entry?

How can I STOP Ring Central from starting a web browser when I click on a meeting from an outlook calendar entry? Certainly an annoyance when I have 3-4 meetings a day. it just clutters up my screen. Any assistance would be appreciated. Mark

Idea for What Appears in Upcoming Meetings in Video Section

Hello,I have an idea about what to display in the Video section of Ringcentral under "Upcoming Meetings".A lot of people use Outlook for reminders and not necessarily appointments. Some of our staff get annoyed by the notification in RingCentral as well as Outlook when they have this happen.Maybe an option could be made to only have appointment appear in "Upcoming Meetings" if a link is included in the "Location" section of the Calendar invite in Outlook.Just a thought, but would be interested in people's thoughts.Have a great day!

Why can't I find the video service in my settings?

My upcoming meetings won't show up and I followed the instructions on the Help/Support site and went through the steps and couldn't find the Video Service. I just have a "video settings" feature but nothing about service. What am I doing wrong?

scheduling a meeting through desktop ringcentral app via microsoft outlook

I have been using RingCentral app on my desktop to schedule meetings for years now. Recently, when i click "schedule" after inputing info on the ring central app it takes me to microsoft 365 outlook.live webpage. Before, it would always go directly to my outlook app on my computer and generate an email to add attendees too. Not sure what changed or why. any help would be much appreciated.

RC Video Quality Issues

We are having issues using the RC desktop in RC video meetings. The picture quality will freeze or drop, and it is near impossible to use it. If we go to a Teams meeting in the same environment with the same user and device, we have no issues. It appears as though RC bandwidth is 5-6 mbs while Teams is less than 3 mbs. This is not a bandwitdth issue as we are not close to capacity on our internet connection. We also increased our QoS to RC recommended numbers with no change. Is there any settings in the app to help with this or compress video?

Become host of meeting if original host can't join

Please bear with me if I ramble. We recently migrated to Ring Central MVP from Mitel. For video meetings we used a Zoom pro account, and we're evaluating RC's video meeting function to see if we need/want to renew the Zoom account. So far there are two issues I noted but didn't know if there was a work-around for it. I'll post the 2nd question in another post.We have a small office (2 people) and share the Zoom pro account. So, even if the meeting was arranged by the boss, I could log in as him and host. This came in handy over the past year as he had serious medical issues that required hospitalization, and I could just step in and be him. In RingCentral, from what I see, the only way I would have access to the meeting is if he had invited me to begin with (there are some meetings we both attend, and some only he attends and I'm not copied on the invitation). Could I become host of the meeting if I followed the link and he couldn't attend? Would he need to invi

List of scheduled video meetings

I've noticed that the upcoming meetings only show the next week, and shows both Ring Central video meetings as well as any other meeting I have in my outlook calendar. (Last week it showed a doctor's appointment.) Is there any way to see the entire list of scheduled video meetings? I was hoping that there'd be a function in the Admin Portal (I'm super admin) so that I could see all of the meetings for all users. (I should add - we are a nonprofit with a staff of 2. These meetings are usually board and committee meetings involving people outside of our office.)Thanks in advance.Arletta

RingCentral Meeting Room Disconnecting AUDIO

Hello,My company is a Logitech Rally Bar shop and we're running a Windows 10 Desktop, connected to Rallybar, running RC Meeting Room, controlled by an iPadI've noticed that after every major windows update, machine bounces, but no boot up RC Meeting triggers a no-audio error.What's more interesting, computer and rally bar seem to be working just fine, fixing the 'problem' is incredibly easy, I'll need to go to the iPad, audio settingsby default its pointing to the correct audio source (but showing its not working), toggling to incorrect audio source, back to correct audio source fixes the problem.I've bounced logitech equipment, but on boot up issue persists, iPad still shows audio source errorThoughts?

Why does the application (Ring central video) break when the background is changed?

Trying to customize meeting invites - can't find User Extensions mentioned in the help article

Hello,New to RingCentral.I'm trying to change the meeting invite template for Outlook. This article seems to be the one. However, I don't see the User Extension Settings the article is talking about. Where is that? I'm logged into Admin Portal. I also looked around the app. I logged into the app through the browser, so it should be up to date. Is the article outdated? It shows as it's published Feb 2023, not that long ago.Thank you!--J

The video resolution appears worse for RingCentral Video than it did for RingCentral Meetings. Is this something that can be corrected through settings or is it a known widespread issue since the recent updates to the App?

Scheduled video meeting does not appear on my video meetings page.

when I make an appointment on (video meeting) it tells me that the video meeting is successfully scheduled, however the meeting does not appear in my upcoming meetings area so i can join. Where does the meeting join button go to? (I do not have it connected to any calendar or does this new update consider you to have a calendar so it can appear on your screen?)How do I get this functionality to work correctly?

Unmute/start video

This may seem like a minor issue but our providers waste hundreds of minutes a month explaining to patients who aren't that tech savvy how to unmute themselves and start their video. Sometimes it can take 5 minutes which is very frustrating. Any solutions for this?
