Hello-I show Available in my status but if I make a call or video call I am BRB and no one can hear me.  I have tried to resolve this issue but nothing works

Hi @Judi, you may want to troubleshoot it using the steps below.

Step 1: Reset the RingCentral App

Think of this like giving the app a quick refresh to clear out whatever glitch is holding you back.

    1. Open your RingCentral app on your computer.

    2. Press Ctrl + Shift + D on your keyboard (if you're on a Mac, press Cmd + Option + D).

    3. A small menu will pop up—just click Reset App Data.

    4. Log back into the app.

How to check: Try placing a quick call. If your status stays normal and doesn't flip back to BRB, you're all set!

    Step 2: Double-Check Your Headset/Microphone

Sometimes the app gets confused about which microphone or headset you're actually using, which silences your sound.

    1. In the app, click the Settings gear icon in the left menu.

    2. Click on Sound (or Video > Audio).

    3. Look at the dropdown menu for Microphone and Speakers. Make sure your actual headset or computer speakers are selected instead of "Default."

    4. Click the Test button next to the speaker menu to make sure you hear the test sound.

How to check: Call a coworker or dial a test number to verify they can hear you loud and clear.

Step 3: Close the Mobile App

If you have RingCentral on your phone, it might be running in the background and telling the system you're away from your desk.

    1. Grab your phone, open your active apps screen, and swipe the RingCentral app completely closed.

    2. On your computer, change your status to Do Not Disturb for about 10 seconds, then switch it back to Available.
