Good morning, everyone.  We need to resolve a Caller ID issue where external phone numbers are not appearing on RingEX.Currently, RingCX correctly displays the caller's actual phone number. However, the moment a call is transferred to RingEX, the Caller ID reverts to "The Union Bank Company." Additionally, any external call made directly to a RingEX user shows the same bank name instead of the caller's number. Our goal is for the original external phone number to be visible on RingEX in all scenarios. I’m currently trying to get this feature developed by RingCentral. Teams embedded RC app using the desktop phone pairing feature use to work properly, but after an update has broken. On one device say your office Windows PC you pair a desktop phone in the RC embedded Teams app, then on your laptop/Macbook on the road or at home you want to use computer audio for an RC call on this device....but no it's paired to your office desktop phone still. You must unpair your office phone on your laptop to use computer audio. But.... When you get back to the office you have to pair your desk phone again as it's still using computer audio from using your laptop. If gets worse if you have more devices...say Office, WFH, and laptop/Macbook you have to constantly pair and unpair between computer audio and desktop phones. Very frustrating!  Desktop phone pairing should be independent per device….just as it use to be and like other functionality  current is...for example the Ring out feature is independent per device.There was an idea on the community site added th

Our RingCentral app is not accurately displaying incoming or missed calls. This has been happening for a couple days now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset the app and logged out and back in several times. I've checked all the settings and nothing is out of the ordinary. Is anyone else seeing this type of behavior from the desktop app?

It seems as if just recently that when I now get a Ring Central call on my iPhone 8 that it calls out the numbers of the dialer (ring.. 9-7-6-4-5-2-8-8-0-2 and then repeats until I can pick it up.) It’s very irritating. Is there a way to change this?It is only when I get Ring Central calls on my iPhone that this happens, not when just a direct call to my iPhone. So I don’t believe it’s my iPhone settings.Please help. Before I pull out what little hair I have left.

Over the last week, people calling me can now leave 10 or 15 minute long voice messages if they want. For years, there was a 3 minute time limit and the message would get cut-off, which I prefer. How do I go back to only allowing a 3 minute max voice message?

I have a user in RingCentral that has a licensed number and is going on vacation for a week. During that time period another employee needs to make phone calls from that number what do I do to make that available to the user who only has an extension but not a license number?

I cannot login.  It just has the loading screen.

It is possible to have both extensions and park locations set up in the HUD, with the park locations showing first? Currently, no matter what order I add members to the HUD, the extensions and parks are segregated, and the parks come last. I need more flexibility with my set up. Anyone know a way? Thank yoU!RObin

Hi All,  I have successfully downloaded the extension and connected it to my HighLevel account. I can go ahead and click to make calls and that works without issue. However, the calls are no longer being logged in the conversation record of HighLevel. I’ve tried everything from looking at the settings, logging out, signing back in, nothing is working to get calls to log. I was testing this extension just a few weeks ago and it was working fine at that time. Went ahead and removed the extension a few weeks ago and re-installed it yesterday. Since the re-install, no calls will log. Is there anyone that would be so kind to help me out here.  Thanks in advance! Mike

This question seems to have been repeatedly answered years ago, but the interface in Ring Central Admin does not match the solution nowadays. Where do I (admin) reset a users voicemail PIN? This option used to exist previously, but now when I search for it, the option no longer exists (for any user).   I am looking in ‘Users with Extension’ then Phone then Voicemail Settings.  But there is no option to reset PIN.

The users in my office often have the RingCentral Desktop software installed, but also have a physical desk phone. Some users prefer to have the incoming call rules configured to only allow the desk phone to ring, and turn the app off. This used to work, but now it seems that even when you turn off “desktop app” in the incoming call rules, it still rings on the desktop. We are currently running an analog phone paging system. Our users dial 77 from their Polycom phones and RingCentral desktop app, then announce the page after the beep. This is done over speakers on our factory floor. We want to terminate the analog line and move paging to RingCentral using a Cyber Data SIP Paging Adapter. If we do this, can we continue to use 77 as the extension for paging the same way as we currently do?

Hi Everyone, I have Mitel 485G phones and we use RingCentral. A few months back, I was following this guide to set up my phones in RC. These steps are no longer working for me. After I set the configuration server, the phone reboots and hits me with a “no service” message.  Does anyone know of any other ways to add the phone to RC? Thank you. 

We have several staff members who are assigned to their department’s phone queue. From time to time, they may also need to answer calls from a different queue. I have added them to those additional queues, but it does not appear that users can opt in or out of individual queues separately. Instead, the only available setting seems to be “accept calls from queue” for all queues they belong to. It would be very helpful if users could choose which specific queues they are actively accepting calls from. That would eliminate the need to manually add and remove staff members at different times, especially when they do not need to receive calls from the secondary queue on a regular basis.

How do I set up an automated message in response to text messages?

We are new to RingCentral. We’re getting a lot of calls where nobody is on the other end - much more than we did with our old system.  It’s disconcerting because we are getting a lot of calls that work as expected, but we’re not sure if we’re missing potential clients or if they’re spam calls?  I found this question asked about 3 years ago and the answer pointed to a link that seemed to be about Robocall Mitigation, but the article has been removed from RC.  I’d appreciate any update or insight if this has happened to others.

We have a Call Queue number that our staff use as their outgoing caller ID sometimes, When staff use this it comes up with a Caller ID that isn’t correct, where can I get this changed? For example when you call out using the Call Q Number the receiving phone get’s “Company Name Tasmania Burnie” but we want it to just say “Company Name Tasmanaia” 

I just learned that a paid third-party app is required to integrate RC SMS into Zoho. I asked customer service reps from both companies if RingCentral and Zoho integrated and if I could send/rec RingCentral SMS in Zoho, and both said yes. I guess it is my fault for not asking the right question. Only telephony natively integrates.I need to figure out how to integrate RingCentral SMS into my Zoho CRM Standard account. The extensions I have found so far are expensive and require a Zoho Enterprise account and/or webhooks (not included in Zoho Standard). Does anyone have any ideas? Is RC developing an app for its customers? Zoho is a popular CRM. Thanks.

We have moved from Panasonic PBX to Yealink T-54W. We can still page to overhead speakers using an Algo adapter, but RingCentral requires the EXT number be inputted to do so. Is there a way to bypass the requirement of inputting the ext number, and essentially only pressing Page to successfully reach the speakers overhead?
