We just finished Ring Central Implementation. During working hours, the phones ring in Sales Queue however after hours it rings to all 4 production buildings. No one hears in the plants because only the phone rings which is in an unmanned office. I need the phone to ring through paging speakers after hours. How can I accomplish that?A second question is how do I Park a Call and show it parked until answered?Thanks

As per title.I've got the MSI latest version installed, and tried with local administrator credentials on the pc, along with regular user, tried running the teams desktop plugin as admin and teams as regular user (then the reverse of that), tried the latest teams versus teams classic (with same admin/non admin or full admin) and in every scenario, this is what's happening:Teams opened and logged in, click on ringcentral embedded app in teamsManually opened ringcentral for teams desktop plugin, appears to be runningGo back to teams and ringcentral embedded app says 'Loading RingCentral desktop plugin...' with no further informationTried checking logs (windows event viewer, rc logs etc) and not sure what exactly is stopping it.Were I to guess, something is stopping the embedded app from 'seeing' that the desktop plugin is running, but I don't know how else to get around that (having already disabled antivirus, windows firewall, etc) with it still not working.A

We have a call queue set to forward to an external number afterhours.  We also have call recording activated in which there is the “this call is being recorded” notification on all inbound calls.  We have been running into an issue when the RingCentral notification is being played at the same time the afterhours service is picking up the call and making their introduction.  Is there a way to control this so that the RingCentral notification is completed before the call is transferred to the afterhours service? Thank you

Recently RC has stopped offering the normal Polycom ATA devices we use for fax machines. I was told the Cisco ATA 192 would offer the same functionality.On multiple devices we have discovered that the internet out port on the device (labelled as "Ethernet" on the device) does not seem to function. I have spent the last week plus poking around in the online configuration utility and I cannot get this to work. I can get the device online, I can fax in and out, everything works other than the port on the device that is supposed to be used for another device to access the web will not allow a connection. I believe this has something to do with the IP address on the port being assigned to a weird value.I am still waiting on a solution from RC Support. This has stopped all fax conversions currently so hoping that either 1) there is a solution already from someone on this board or 2) help others who are stuck with this issue.

I set up automated out of office SMS message for Christmas. It’s still running and I can’t turn it off. The message doesn’t appear in Automator or Workflow Builder.Please help!! 

I want to learn more about the automation within RingCentral...is there a tutorial or some additional training I can view to help me out?

When my Avaya J179 phones are provisioned by RingCentral, their Web Administrator Password is getting clobbered.  I don’t know what RingCentral is setting that password to.  I can reset that password to the default 27238 from the phone’s administration menu directly, and then I can login to the phone’s web interface where it prompts me to set a new password, which I can do successfully.  That password works fine until I reboot the phone for any reason, then it gets clobbered again.  This makes it impossible for me to maintain web access to my phones, practically speaking.  Can I find out what password RingCentral’s provisioning is setting for my phone’s Web Administrator access?  Or, can I do something to have RingCentral’s provisioning refrain from clobbering that password?

We are testing the connection of RC to GHL and the text messages are not synching on GHL. Is this a glitch? Are you working on solving this?

i was told that ai would be able to handle overflow calls, currently all overflow calls are forwarded to my answering service after 20 secs if our secretary is unable to answer. After talking to the ai onboarding tech, he stated it would not work unless i had to purchase an upgraded service. why cant it work as it does currently by forwarding to the ai receptionist after call is not answered in 20 secs?

Hi RingCentral Team,I’m facing a refresh token issue using the RingCentral PHP SDK (v2.3.1) in a Laravel application. The refresh token call fails with “Refresh token has expired”, even though the access token is still valid and well within its expiration window.What makes this confusing is that the official RingCentral Web Phone Demo (https://developers.ringcentral.com/demo.html), using the same RingCentral account, same app, and same environment, stays authenticated for weeks without any issues.🔍 Issue Summary Access token validity: 1 hour Refresh token validity: 7 days (604800 seconds) Observed behavior: Refresh token fails even when attempted within minutes of issuance Error thrown by SDK: Refresh token has expired Expected behavior: Refresh token should remain valid for days, not minutes 🧪 Environment DetailsLaravel App PHP 8.1 Laravel 10.x RingCentral PHP SDK: 2.3.1 cURL: 7.68 OS: Ubuntu 20.04 Environment: Real Number with old developer acoount

How do I view scheduled meetings in the new RingCentral Desktop App? In the RingCentral Meetings app, there was a tab for "Meetings" where I could see all recurring and scheduled meetings.

Hello,We are setting up Ring Central and have a main site with a main phone number and our first ‘sub site’.  We don’t have a phone number for this site and want to1.) Assign a temporary main number to this sub site2.) Then port in our existing main number to replace this temporary numberUnfortunately, going thru all the tutorials, Google searches, etc. hasn’t really helped to sort out how to do this.Thanks in advance for any help!Eric

Are there more granular ways to handle Contact creation for the integration aside from the single setting in the Integration Console? Currently facing an issue with the volume of Contacts being created in this fashion. I know it’s related to how we have the integration set to ‘Create Contact with Phone Number’.Our SDRs may create a new Contact using the same number as the integration created. I then have to merge any of those Contacts with the integration ‘Caller +1’ contact manually then bulk delete the rest. I’m wondering if there’s a smoother way to handle this or more granularly control the Contact creation. We’re still relatively new to both RC and HubSpot this year so there’s a lot of learning, growth & iteration on our end. But ideally, we could preserve the call log/history while preventing these duplicates from appearing. As a tangential question, our internal calls are being logged in HubSpot as well as our main company number. Can someone tell me when the Nice CXone Agent Interface training tutorial for outbound manual calls will be updated to include the new functionality and UI changes?  I believe these changes were in the last release, but the training tutorial has not caught up yet to match.  Please advise.  Thank you!

We have downloaded the latest version of App Connect to be able to integrate with High Level CRM. App Connect prompts for our login/authorization but stalls out and will not open RingCentral .connect, help!!

I have used the RingCentral app in Pipedrive for all our extentions. The app is stating “cannot find log”. We have reinstalled the app and everything possible. 

I had to reload with Windows 11. I can’t get the buttons on the Voyager to respond in Ring Central Firmware is up to date. Tried Factory ResetAny help appreciated.  

If we have multiple RingCentral instances/tenants using the same Bullhorn instance, are we able to setup server-side call logging with the same API user, or would each RC instance need its own API user? While the auth worked for me, my colleague is getting the “Server side logging turn ON” message and the “Server logging settings update failed. Please check your username and password” message at the same time when using the same API credentials as I used.

I receive after hour sometimes really late messages as well as on the weekends when I don't work is there a way to turn off messages 

Hi!If agents are still logged in calls are being received even though it is after the set hours of operations for the business.My understanding is that inbound calls afterhours should hear the set afterhours message, and go to voicemail even if agents are still logged in and available. Is there a way to make sure calls do not come through afterhours?Thanks!

I logged in to App Connect v1.6.16 this morning, and found that all of our configs from the Admin Settings have disappeared/reverted. The API user info for server-side logging is gone, the default note actions are gone, etc. It’s as if it reverted to the default configuration settings. Is this expected? Why would this happen? How do we prevent this from happening?

We keep getting the error when trying to run this automation. It occurs when a voicemail is left but there is not speech found. How can we get around this? We still want the data to get posted even if there isnt a transription.
