App Connect 2.0.0 – Redtail CRM creating unwanted Activities instead of Notes

Since the recent upgrade to App Connect 2.0.0, manually logging a completed telephone call creates an outstanding Activity in Redtail CRM under "Things to do today."

Previously, entering an Activity Title and Note in the App Connect widget saved the information to the contact's Notes without generating an outstanding task.

Automatic call logging is OFF. Under More → Settings → Redtail options, only Default Category and Timezone are available.

Can the App Connect development team confirm whether this is a regression in version 2.0.0 and provide a fix or workaround? We would like to restore our previous call-logging workflow without creating outstanding Activities.
