What is this BETA version we are seeing in our App? Less features?!

I am fairly new to this application, but there was a noticeable difference in the quality of features provided.  This “BETA” version of our app came unannounced, and now we are having difficulty sharing videos, finding them in searches by name, and scrolling through our transcripts!  It is awful!  Its been around a week or two dealing with this and we are wasting lots of time and energy navigating around these obstacles!  Please explain or help! Thank you :)
