Send SMS message using API

Hi,

I am sending SMS using the API with the resource:

https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/sms


The response is "The requested feature is not available". How can we make the feature available in our account?

We need to know what account you are using, is it Sandbox or Production, what phone number you try to use to send SMS from.
Its in Production, the from number is the main company's number or should I say the username. Anyhow I tested another number and it works.

Contact the developer support team or open a support ticket if you still have issues.

If you want to use company number to send SMS from, your extension should be company operator extension (so that you could view any reply on your outbound message). It is preferred to use direct extension numbers to send SMS from.

If you are facing any issue, the best approach will be to ask about the technical details to the developer support team and opening a support ticket.

They can investigate this issue.
