How do I create an url alias via DNS?

Would like to create a url alias of phones.company.com and set its target host FQDN to glip.com

Would like to create url alias of phones.company.com and set its target host FQDN to service.ringcentral.com .


Every attempt to do so fails with 402 or no page renders.

Can you give more details about how you set that and what tool/environment? Can you for example set your alias to target other site such as google.com, yahoo.com etc. to see if the problem is specific to just ringcentral.com or glip.com?
