After deleting call log, missed calls are still being displayed on phone panel.

Try to reboot your phone to make sure that it syncs.
Just found out that the desk set and app do not communicate when deleting the call history from the app. Steps to clear from my desk phone; press the down arrow; Toolbar on phone will display options (Dial - Info - Type - More). Select More - Toolbar on phone will display (Clear - Sort - More). Select Clear - This will give you the option to Clear All Calls - Missed Calls - Received Calls - Placed Calls - Displayed Calls.
