I was successful in installing the new RingCentral/Netsuite Chrome extension/plugin.

My question is that all my employees can see every other employee’s record and can see wages/personal information, etc. 

Is there a way to turn this off so they cannot see it?

This is due to the fact that you need to have Employee and Employee Records set to ‘View’ for the plugin to work.

@Jordan Fitch Thank you so much for this feedback. We agree and we are working on a fix. In an upcoming release, we will remove the need for permissions on the Employee record. 

@Jordan Fitch I wanted to follow up - in our latest release of the NetSuite SuiteApp and Unified CRM extension, we have removed the requirement for having to possess the Employee permission. Be sure you are using version 0.0.7 of the SuiteApp.
