Inline code snippet dissapeared

After migrating from glip to ringcentrial it is not possible to create inline code snippet using
/code {your code snippet here}

How can I do it inline (not using an icon)

I know there is a button, I want to create the snippet with code shortcut from message text as it was done in glip by clicking /c
Another issue is that this snippet is ridiculously small should have a width of the message window

There is no scroller until I expand.

I hate your messaging system but unfortunately am obligated to use it by organization
