Some of our users are abusing the ability to change their hold music. Access is granted to them through the "Standard" role. I don't see any options to create a custom role though, is there a way to block their access to the hold music on their extensions?

Hello @kelsey-charron, sorry but there's no option for turning this off. For feature requests, you may submit it in our Ideas Portal at https://ideas.ringcentral.com/.

Yes, but depends on your version.

Create a new role and use Super Admin as the template. Deselect everything, this will then allow you to change the user settings. Deselect "screening, greeting and hold music" and select any other options this user would need added or removed. Just note: this deletes their entire screening, greeting and hold music tab, so there's a trade off.
