Mobile App: lag on Android?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the latest version of the mobile App.  Most of my communication with employees is via text--probably 50-100 texts per day on average.  The app makes working away from the office excruciating. On most occasions it takes an average of 60-90 seconds to open the app.  Another 60-90 seconds to open a specific text, another 60-90 to reply, another 60-90 to go back to the main menu.  It's the same whether on wifi or 4g.  I've done what I can to shut down other programs, make sure Ring Central is the only thing running, etc.    Going to get another phone--my wife has an LG Stylo and it's still very laggy but not as bad.  Are others experiencing this and if so what can I do to improve it. I have enjoyed Ring Central so far, but this is important enough that I've considered going elsewhere for service.

You tried some great troubleshooting steps already.  Another thing to try is to do a hard-reboot on the phone. I know on my iPhone when it starts to lag, if I do a hard reboot it helps a lot.  

Try that and let me know.

Hi Kim thanks for the reply.  I've tried the reboot with no luck.  Every app on my phone works at what I would call normal speed (opens within 1 second for example) except Ring Central.  And it's not even close--on this device the app is painfully slow.

Ok. Thank you for the additional info.  For further troubleshooting please open a w ebcase and include your phone type (Samsung Galaxy S5) and app version. 

And maybe we'll still get feedback from other Community users here to see what others are experiencing.
