How do I fax directly from scanner

I can't find a way to fax directly from the Windows App from my HP Printer/Scanner.  I thought there was an option to pick the printer as the source so you did not have to save the document first.

You'll have to save the file to the computer.  After you scan the document, just save the file to the computer, then use the "Print to Fax" feature here:   Using the RingCentral desktop app's Print-to-Fax Function

So if you are going to scan and save the file to the computer, why not just fax the copy?  My method is to scan the file, save to Outgoing Fax folder, then just drag it to the document box on RingCentral desktop app.  Avoid additional steps.  This also keeps a record of your documents (use a name for the document that is meaningful), and you know by looking at the date and time the document was created, about when you faxed it (for those times when the recipient says they never got it.....).
