Multiple troubleshooting steps taken with customer service and SE

Hello Everyone, I hope you are staying safe! I have a feature issue and I wanted to see if anyone might know of a work around. Texting is this customers only form of receiving leads. These leads could come in at any time day or night and they have to respond immediately. They have turned on notifications on the RC mobile app and within their IOS device so they hear the audible notification when the RC mobile app is closed. If the RC mobile app is open, they will not get the audible notification, only the red indicator on the app. We then set up SMS notification so when a text is received, they hear the audible notification from the SMS on the IOS device. The issue is that the full message is coming through on the SMS notification so it is not HIPPA compliant. Why are audible notifications not available when the app when it is open? Is there any way to not receive the full message on the SMS notification, just a notification that a text message has been received on the RC mobile app. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
