Dial by name directory saying wrong name when transferring

Our dial by name directory is saying the incorrect name when transferring, even though it is transferring to the correct extension based on the letters typed in. The name is recorded correctly under the User Details in the Admin Portal, but is there another location where the recorded name should be referenced?
