I know there's a way to get to phone system programming through the mobile GLIP / RingCentral app but I couldn't seem to find that same area on the desktop version of the RingCentral / GLIP app. Is there a way to get to the same place through the desktop version?

If we are talking about the same thing...I believe they took that away.  We used to be able to click on a icon in the desktop version and it would take us to Glip web, but now all the "R" icon does is say "download app"??? We already have it, as far as I can tell so not sure why it won't go to it??

Click your picture in the upper right and select admin. That should do the job.

I am not sure I understand what you are indicating, Erik.  I think I am talking about something different???

My fault, I just re read and the phone system admin is what he is looking for, not the glip admin. Sorry, good catch Shelly

With RingCentral making use of a single app “old glip” now “RingCentral” I should be able to get to my phone system admin and programming through the “glip/RingCentral” app and the desktop version of “glip/RingCentral. Right now there is not a way I can find to get to the phone system side through the desktop version of the program.

I thought of that as well. Although, I could still use a browser from my phone but there's a way through the mobile app to get there. If the app / desktop program is supposed to a one stop shop for access to everything then the ability to change my phone system settings should be able to be found through both versions of the program.

@ Chris ... The app is still transitioning. As they have mentioned numerous times, they are beginning the transition with the mobile app portion of the project to be completed by EOY 2019. The desktop portion of the project will be completed in 2020. I would imagine that the feature you are requesting will still be added, but in due time.

I can appreciate that a move like this does take a long time to pull off. That being said the emails i remember getting were stating things like " make sure your customers have the right apps and know how to use everything" because the RC Phone desktop app will be going away, those are dating back quite awhile. My stance is that if I'm to be using the GLIP / RingCentral app as my one stop shop shouldn't the voice portion be the first thing to come?

The issue then becomes if my main number is called my phone isn't supposed to ring now my direct line wont ring me either if I only have the new app on my phone. Part of that is the configuration of the system some of that is the state of flux we're in with this transition.
