Quiet Hours for Glip Notifications

Is there any setting to disable notifications at night? With a diverse team in different areas and different schedules, it would be great to disable notifications at night automatically. This could be as simple as setting quiet hours, which is an option for all sorts of other services. Is this not available anywhere in Glip?

Glip is not where you would set any configuration changes to your system. This is done in the RingCentral web portal. You need to change your business hours from 24 hours p/day (which I assume is where you are currently if you have no "quiet time") to your normal business hours (i.e., 9AM to 5 PM).

This will not take care of different people on different teams in different areas however this can be done individually with Advanced Calling Rules.

I would still like to receive all calls, texts, voicemails, etc. I'm only trying to silence Glip notifications

Hi Bryan, 

At this time, we don't have a 'quite hours' setting, or a way to schedule 'quite hours'. As a workaround, you can manually turn off all notifications in Glip under 'Preferences' for your desired timeframe.

Hi Jessica, if I follow what you're saying - I would need to do this every night manually? That's quite cumbersome. Can I put in a feature request somewhere?
