Bug report - Forwarded call doesn't ring on smartphone app

Hi, I have a bug to report. When setting up Call Forwarding to a different extension, the "forwarded to" extension will ring on the "forwarded to" desktop app, but not on the "forwarded to" mobile app.

Just lost an hour and a half with customer service to realize this system limitation was the cause to my troubles.

Upon searching on this forum, I know see it's been a bug correction asked by many over the years. I can't believe it's not fixed yet.

It's just so frustrating. Our customer service person is on vacation this week, so we setted-up a forwarding from her extension to mine for the week. My regular job makes it that I am away from my computer 50% of the time. I am therefore tethered to my office for the week, unable to accomplish my regular duty.

The mobile app is the only reason we use a service like Ring Central, to accomodate people like me in my company. At this point, we should just revert to individual rotating dial cabled phone!

Yes, i get it, "it's in the dev pipeline, just stay tune". Could you just fix it instead, please? In my opinion, it should never have been a limitation.

Hi David, we are aware of this issue, and investigating it. I will get back to you when I have a conclusion on this.
