When our U.S. RingCentral users are dialing each other's extension their phones only show the extension, and not the name of the user they calling. Can this be adjusted?

Agreed, when dialing an extension on a desk phone, can names be displayed?

Yes, Polycom VVX.  Inbound calls show the name, but when I dial an extension, it does not.

Oh, I misunderstood.  So you are saying when you call Jim, and dial 1014, you want the phone's display to show that you are calling Jim @ ext. 1014?

Yes.  Two big problems result:

1) If I've dialed the wrong extension, I've got no way to know & abort.. just got to wait until the wrong person answers and we figure out that I fat-fingered it.  In one case, I've misdialed a co-worker, got an exec, they answered, I used a "friendly" greeting that I'm lucky didn't get me fired.

2) Call history also just records the extension number for these outbound calls.

1) will have to fall in the category of "feature request"
on 2), when you say 'call history' are you referencing the desk set history or call log?

1) It is a feature request already.  It's 2 years old and has no official responses or status change.  https://community.ringcentral.com/ringcentral/topics/deskphone-users-name-to-show-up-when-we-dial-an...

2) The desk phone (where the call was made).  RC Phone app shows the name, and Glip phone history doesn't seem to show it at all.  But that's a whole other ball of barbed wire.
