I have a customer who recently sold her company but the users that were admin's on the account have access to the account. Turns out after not hearing from  them for quite some time peoples names have been changed but emails not updated and random problems in programming seem to have arisen. My idea would be that when a change is made by any level admin that a change notification is sent to either all or selected other admins to alert what change has been made and who made it.

Hi Chris,

There are a couple things going on here.  First, when an employee leaves the company, its a good idea to delete that user and not try to re-use/update it for another person. It causes these kinds of issues. It's best to recreate the user/extension etc.

As for tracking the changes, our product team has actually been working on creating some sort of change log, but it's too early to say when it will be available, but it will help in cases like this so stay tuned.

Michael or Saadet can you please combine this thread with the already existing Changelog request Thread from earlier this year?

12-06-2017 ::: USA based acct 2287 users 3800 DID lines 28 different sites::::

I worked recently with the engineering team on their Changelog testing and it is coming along!  I am hoping they get it released for BETA soon - and have recommended they get more Administrator level folks reviewing the output details to make sure a majority of everyone's requirements are going to be served....  It looks like the data will render in screen view via the portal (similarly to how you review reports onscreen) but will also be downloadable via CSV for folks who need to analyze their changelog data differently.

If you have specific changelog data you are really passionate about getting and accessing, please reply here with your specifics  on the Changelog thread here in the Community.  And don't forget to VOTE --- this gives them an idea about how many folks are following and waiting for it.

As long as that option is a checkbox.  I certainly don't want to be SPAMMED by the system on changes that my IT team makes.  I would rather have access to log files that tell me who made changes so I know what happened instead.  Log files are your friend!

Hi Eric -   they are looking at it as something you as an Admin would see along your toolbar as a choice - like  you see Reports and Call Logs --- not screen notifications or emails hammering your mailbox
