Company Call Handling: customize multiple greetings for holidays?

Multiple holiday custom recordings - I'd like to make multiple custom recordings to use for holidays.  Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. There are a few different ways to make the recordings.  Visit this topic: Customizing Your Company Hours Greeting

You will probably want to use the Import feature.

Is there any way we can more granularly control this?  Feature request, please?  The greetings menu is pretty simple.

Example: We just had numerous snow days (where we are closed because our city is pathetic in cleaning up snow/ice), and the ability to choose multiple already uploaded "pre-recorded" greetings would be very helpful.   Even more helpful would be giving our Reception the ability to change this on the fly from Softphone interface.  I had to change this probably 10+ times in the past month as we had various levels of holiday, closed during work hours, etc.

Also, I reiterate my request to please move off Flash as a platform.  RingCentral is about the last of the sites we use it for business purposes.

Pete,  I've changed this topic to a Feature request so all interested members can click the vote button at the top. I can see how it would be very helpful to have several options saved and the ability to quickly change from the Desktop App.  

Regarding the Flash on the site, we've been working on this for quite some time and we'll be integrating HTML5 so that the site is no longer dependent on Flash. You'll probably see this in the next few weeks.

Yes, this is a major oversight on the RC service.  With my previous Voip provider I could schedule all the holidays for the entire year, and upload recordings for each holiday, so I don't have to record and activate a holiday greeting at 4pm on a Friday before a long weekend.  I could also store outgoing greetings so I didn't have to re-record them each time like I do with RC.  I find that while there is an "Import" feature (which means I have to store the greetings on my computer), it often errors and won't import the files.  I find the outgoing greeting method VERY clunky and a huge pain in the rear in a system that is otherwise very nice.

This may not be the perfect solution, but, you can create multiple advanced rules for the required dates/times.

Granular control is a must. I agree with Mark Y that your call schedule is awful. The advanced rule can't be applied in a range of dates with specified start dates or with repeating dates. It would be good to have certain holidays listed and we can choose a Christmas one for instance.

It would also be helpful to allow as others have said an easy way to turn it on without logging in and setting a rule. The rule is very cumbersome and not very well done. 

Think of a calendar with recurring items.

Also I have asked for this feature in surveys but being able to save multiple greetings to RingCentral that you can choose from would be very helpful.

It may not be seemless but you could record multiple greetings with whatever options you choose and then use them for your menus for as long as youd like then switch it back to a standard greeting.
