Conference Call iPhone link

Has anyone figured out how to edit the iphone link for conference calls or to create one for the hosts? I know the host can use the RingCentral App but the problem with that is you can’t use it when you are moving (i.e. in a vehicle or walking). The iPhone doesn’t hold a constant internet connection when you are moving (walking or in a vehicle) because you are constantly in and out of networks. So my users need a way to be able to quickly connect to their conference calls without having to key in all of the numbers manually. I’ve also tried setting the call to allow participants to join before the host and having my users call with the participant code, but that doesn’t seem to work for anyone who has the RingCentral App on their phone.

Hey Obolsky,

I may be misunderstanding this one, so please correct any assumptions I've made.

From the sound of it, your users are always using the same conference line, whether it be their own, or one residing on someone else's extension.

In the newest version of the soft phone app, pauses and # can be added to a contact number to enable it to dial the meeting, and enter the host or participant code automatically.

For example:

Conference line: (267) 930-4000

Host code: 953310000#

Participant code: 953310123

If you a user wanted to have a contact within their mobile app to automatically dial into this conference as the host/participant, they would simply save the contact with the following number:

(267) 930-4000,,953310000#, and as the participant (267) 930-4000,,953310123#

When they then dial the saved contact, it will dial the conference line, pause briefly, and enter the host/participant code that you specified.

If they wanted to use their cell phone directly outside of the ring central app, they save the same number as a contact, but within their phone's contacts app itself.

If I misunderstood your question, please let me know and I'd be happy to take another look at this!

Thanks,

Sam
