Contact was established in my cell phone contact list (Verizon is the carrier), I then added the contact to my Ring Central Contact list as well.

If I attempt to send a text message from my Samsung Galaxy S7, and now the S9, instead of it going to the contact as listed in the cell phone contact list only listing the number 978-xxx-xxx, I get a message from mailer-daemon@mx0a-002b:

THIS IS THE EXACT MESSAGE COPIED AND PASTED below with the exception of me x'ing out a few of the numbers

NOW THE SLAP IN THE FACE IS, this contact is EXCLUSIVELY a contact on my cell phone, I deleted his number from my Ring Central contact list on my Android App, on my Desktop station, and this is still going on.

Can you describe exactly how you, "..then added the contact to my Ring Central Contact list as well."?

The email response you pasted is clearly indicating you somehow sent an email to +1978xxx2996@ringcentral.com although not intentionally.  Somehow the messaging app on your phone is adding RingCentral.com after the phone number. Did you try deleting and reentering the contact?

I'm pretty sure (it was about a year ago) the way I was adding contacts would have been on the Desktop App first, and then I believe they would sync once between the Desktop Contacts and the Android App.

Bizarre, that the contact is now in the desktop contact list, not int he Android App list, and when I look at the contact's name in my cell phone it does not display the 978xxx-2966@ringcentral.com.

Not sure if this is some type of notification screw up, or what but it is frustrating.

Thanks,
Eric

Can you try just deleting and recreating the contact on your phone?
