It would take them through the same process as it would if you emailed them the link.
I would have opened RC meetings and started a meeting and it would be nice if there was MEETING CODE: printed on the screen formatted like 149-507-642-4 or some thing that has spaces or dashes to make it easier to read.
Tell my customer to go to meeting.domain.com or domain.com/meeting or some other simple URL where I hosted the php script.
the user would just type in the code i provide in to the form - the form would be smart enough to accept the code with or without dashes or spaces and dynamically format the input, when they submit the form it would do the same as if I sent them the link.
In some cases I am working with people who do not have "email" from the terminal they are operating from as it could be a public computer or some other reason where sending them the email is not practical.
