desk phone not ringing/receiving calls, missed calls showing up in call log online.

my company just got ring central as a new service. I have gone through the process of setting up my account, etc. I am able to place outgoing calls via my desktop phone (polycom powered), but the phone won't ring for incoming calls. All incoming calls are being logged in the online call log, but are not showing up on the physical phone. I have checked ethernet connection, physical phone settings, online FAQ, and I can't figure out how to fix this.
