Desktop App: integrate RC Meetings Video/ScreenShare into Desktop App.

Would like to see where you could video and/or share screen with somebody instantly
from the RingCentral for Desktop App.  Users complain that two apps are cumbersome.  Basically, you could navigate to contact, there would be a video icon next to the telephone and text icon and video would open up instantly instead of going to the RC Meetings app.  Similar to, dare I say it, Skype for Business.

We second that!  The only problem is the meetings app is built on Zoom and is not RingCentral's technology so may be tricky.   I say RingCentral, let's bring that in house :)
That would be so awesome!

It could remain their technology.  On the developer side, it could be doing the same thing... programming would just "hide" the opening of "Start with Video" and take end user straight to video.  The end user doesn't have to know.  They just want instant gratification.

I agree, but wouldn't it be great if RC brought this in house and got more integrated with it and do the same thing with Glip?

I highly recommend this! It's difficult to explain to someone that they have to launch the meeting, click 'invite', send the invitation and then wait. Or they can copy the url, go back to RC, paste it into a chat session with the other user, go back to RC mtg and then wait. Skype handles it much more smoothly where you just hit the camera icon while on the phone or instant messaging with another user.
