I am using RingCentral Phone (10.3.5.34099) and I want to dial additional digits during a phone call (e.g. send password into 3rd-party conference system, interact with IVR) after it is already connected, by copying and pasting a string of digits via the PC clipboard. For example, copying the password string from an email message, and pasting into RingCentral. We used to do this all the time with our previous softphone application (Cisco Jabber) without difficulty.
Now it looks like this can work via the Keypad button during a live phone call, albeit with some functional limitations. It works correctly to paste in a string of digits from the clipboard if this is the first attempt to paste since the Keypad page was activated during the call. But attempting to paste again with a second string of digits does not work correctly (while the string is visually pasted into the edit field, the DTMF tones are not played at all for those extra digits). As a workaround to this bug, you can backspace all the digits from the Keypad page, and then make your second paste attempt, and now it truly works including the DTMF tones. Or you can back out of the Keypad page, going back to the main page for the phone call, and then navigate back into the Keypad page again and make your paste attempt for the second string of digits, and again this works as expected by playing the DTMF tones. It is only broken when you attempt to make a second paste into the Keypad edit field without clearing the field or backing out and re-entering the page.
