I was just going to start this exact subject....

On most fax cover pages (I have looked at) there is a subject/attention line and a large memo box. Ring Central has eliminated the subject/attn: line

When using fax to email you use the email subject line to populate the fax cover page memo field. it is very frustrating to add a large memo when only using the subject line.

In many cases the entire fax is just a simple note which in this case now has to be typed into a document, printed, scanned and attached to the email. (yes I understand some people can print to PDF to save 2 steps)

It would be very beneficial to add the following options when using email to fax....

Add a subject/attention: line to the cover pages and fill this in with information from the email subject line.

Then the email body can be used to insert a memo into the larger memo box on the cover page.

I would also love to see a way to fill out the to: fields using the email main body. perhaps by usiing pre-defined fields...
i.e....

TO: would specify to add the line to the To: field
COMPANY: would specify to add the line to the Company: field
etc...

I can create examples if that helps move this forward.

Hi Vince,  Thanks for the details. I understand what you are saying, but if yo want to include some sample/screenshots in a followup post it may help other Community members understand, and this topic may get more interest-"likes".
