There should be a Fax report similar to Call report tab or somewhat add the Fax details on the reporting tab. In this way, it could be presentable in a graphic and more analytical manner for record or internal tracking purposes when file/report is extracted. The Fax information on the Call log section only gives us a excel file that only has the basic information.

  1. Account type: Office Premium 2-19 line [T1_RCO_2_P] [4513]
  2. A brief description of the business: Not Discussed
  3. A high level description of the product or feature being requested: Would give a preview of details for inbound and outbound Faxes similar to what you see on the Reports section.
  4. A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature: For Presentation, Internal Records, or Tracking Purposes.
  5. Benefit of such feature: It will show as a Report view on how Faxes are valuable to their business. Also, to see in a total view similar to reports for call, the inbound and outbound faxes. 
  6. Include any related case number if applicable: Case - 06267632
  7. Number of Users and/or Digital Lines: 2

What we currently have is a excel spreadsheet for the records of Inbound and Outbound Faxes. Customer is looking into a more reliable page where she can see a report view of the Fax usage on their account which is somewhat similar to the Reports tab on the online account.

Hi Saadet, 

Spoke to the customer just now. To clarify, while our logs show that the fax was sent, they want a clear indication that it was received by the party they sent it to. While they understand that on our end, when it shows "sent," we know that it was able to complete the request, however, the customer feels that a simple transmission or call log result is insufficient to confirm for sure that the request did go through (as there may be a bug, or an issue on the recipient's end), so if there was maybe some proof that the customer did indeed receive the document, that's what the customer is looking for.
