Glip Tasks - Assign to Teams

Hello, we are starting to use Glip pretty heavily in the business now (Its Great!) and we are looking to use the tasks option however one thing I noticed is that you cannot assign tasks to teams, just to individuals.  I have a team setup with my direct reports and if I want to assign them a team task I have to add all their names in.

Would it be an idea to add teams to this also?

Thank you for the feature request! I think it's a good idea.

Hi Stewart - We do have a way that will at least make it easier for you to add everyone as an assignee to the task. You have to do it through the Tasks app though. To get there, click on "Tasks" in the left pane, although a better way is to click on the "TASKS" section in the shelf/right pane of the team you're working in. That will take you into the Tasks app prefiltered to show just tasks from the given team.

Once in the Tasks app, find the task in question on the page and then click on the Assignee field. In the popup, you'll see the headshots of all team members at the bottom, followed by one at the very end with little person icons in it. Click that one to add all team members as assignees on the task.

I don't get a list or headshots in the assignee field when I do this.  I had to type every individual member of the Team into the field (or at least start typing their name in order to get them to pop up).
I agree there needs to be a simpler way to assign a task to the entire Team.

Also- when assigning a Task to a group of assignees with the competion set to Checked by All Assignees, the assignees aren't seeing an actual checkbox to mark the task completed.  Shouldn't they?  In order to "complete" the task, they have to click on the "# completed/# assigned" figure and then a list of names comes up and they have to click on their name to mark themselves as completed.

Hey Shannon, you do have to go into the Task and then check off your name as shown below

I've got a problem with this, it seems to only be supported up to 20 people, but doesn't impose that limit when assigning to people.  The display on the computer app / web app doesn't show more than 25 or so on standard monitors, and the mobile app only loads 20 and if a user is checked off, but not on the list that loaded, when someone else presses done there, it unchecks it for all those other users.

Hi Stuart,

I let the Glip team know about this limit.
