How do I change a number on the account via the ADMIN Portal?

  • In the ADMIN Portal, go to Phones & Devices, select the device attached to the extension. Then to the right select Change Number. 
  • This is also the easiest place to Change a Phone or "Swap Phones/Devices" in the account.  Select "change phone".
If you don't see "change phone" it is probably because the phone says "check status". See here for solution. 

If the desired Area Code and Prefix is not available, email community.support@ringcentral.com and let us know your account main number is and what area code you need.  Or create a web case and ask support to check for available numbers.
