We just joined RC today and are still learning our way around. We set up some extensions/users that we don't want to keep and they have never been activated.

"Status: Not Activated"

How do we delete these?

Gotta activate's a pain, but for now, that's the way. You can change the email to your own email, activate it, then deactivate, then delete. Same rules apply if you need to change a password, change the email, send the password change email, change the password, etc.

I don't disagree...but I've brought it up to them before, and I figure if we keep bringing up things like'll change. That's my hope!

I played with most of the phone system before I pulled the trigger on our ~70 user phone system...the benefits and advantages FAR outweigh the little annoyances/disadvantages. We've had both traditional PBX and VOIP services...this is about as good as I've found.

Hope this doesn't discourage.

Hey guys,

I'm with you. This process needs to be more efficient.

I've updated this topic to an Idea and added your feedback to a request on our end.

I'll keep you posted as I hear more.

Community - Please +1 if you'd like this as well.

Wow, this post was a year ago and it is still an issue! What has to be done for the simple inconveniences to be fixed? Can Ringcentral setup a poll on the front page of support for features to focus on? Allow users on the forums to vote them up.

Hi Erly D. Alonso ,

I we don't currently have this on the front page of our support site, but, it is built into this Community site, and our Product Managers review all the ideas and suggestions regularly so that they do know where to focus their efforts and resources. However, I'll do some brainstorming and try to come up with a way make it more visible for everyone to see.

For now, if  you just go to the Home page of this Community site and click Ideas.

Then under Recent Activity, click Number of Me-Toos.

The page will then display the "Idea" topics that have the most "Me-Toos" or "Likes".  From this screen you can see the "Status" of these ideas which will show "Planned, Under Consideration, Implemented, etc.

We urge everyone to view these topics and vote on the items that you would most like to see implemented.
I hope this helps.
