We are a mobile network test tool developer.
We wish we were able to make and receive calls on our Ring Central number from a mobile phone which has HD Voice enabled.
We would use this feature with our mobile network voice call quality characterization tool "VQTPI" that is now under development. It automates the collection of voice call quality metrics from mobile phones as they are driven around or moved around in a network.
We make voice alls not from the Ring Central App, but from the native phone call app of the phone that is supplied by the phone manufacturer and/or the network operator. Right now, mobile networks are only just starting to support HD Voice calling between mobile networks. HD Voice sounds better especially for long conference calls with one talker more active than others. One gets tired of always straining to understand the talker. The incrementally less effort at intelligibility goes a long way towards improving work relationships and of course customer service as well.
Thus the argument for adopting HD Voice at Ring Central with universal support for all calls. (Yes, we know HD Voice is supported between Ring Central desktop phones and apps. Great!)
