  1. Account type: US

  2. A brief description of the business
B2B services. Sales and execution of our services requires a workflow that is most compatible with Microsoft Teams (included in most Office 365 subscriptions).

  3. A high level description of the product or feature being requested
Integration with Microsoft Teams. There are two options, an installed application and a browser based version. It may be most feasible to integrate with the installed option. Would like call, sms, and conference abilities. I believe that Teams currently uses Skype for Business for it's video conferencing feature. Teams also has 'bots' that can perform tasks related to third-party API's. RingCentral could create a bot that allows a user to enter '@RingCentral' to SMS the content of a post to all recipients.

  4. A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature
To improve communication and collaboration. Some higher level employees do not adapt their workflows to a collaborative format This results in broken processes. Integrations like this would help bring old-school communications into new collaborative processes so that teams could reach out to these employees and:
-Have SMS messages on record in one place relative to the project.
-Have audio recordings in one place relative to the project.

  5. Benefit of such feature
    Please see item 4.

  6. Number of Users and/or Digital Lines
    8 Lines.

This would be great.  Microsoft Teams is really clean.  We currently us Glip which is nice but Teams is Microsoft's crack at realtime collaboration and they are making a splash so far.

We gave glip a try but it just wasn't as intuitive as Teams for our user base. Since we are heavily invested in the Office 365 environment it makes more sense too since other resources are close at hand.

I see that Microsoft has introduced PSTN service as an add-on for enterprise level subscriptions. They intend for this to be a PBX replacement. This will probably compete with RingCentral, but currently I don't see SIP support for standard desk phones. The desk phones have to be Skype for Business compliant.

I get that for sure. It is a really nice UI. Yeah they do but I wouldn't touch their phone solution with a ten foot pole.  We love and support Office365, but RingCentral is worlds ahead of anything microsoft is pulling together for voice.

have 2 accounts expressing interest in this--- one is 650 users and the other is 2000 users -- glip is great but having Teams integration is key especially when an account already has it
