so i make 4 park locations for my customer i make sure all users have use of the park and place it on the phones presence. when i tested it (ona polycom VVX 411), i call, hit home key to go back to main screen, then press park key. the screen displays "transfer failed" and then i have to try and recover the call. anyone have this happen before?

Hey Chris,

I haven't heard of anything like this before. Have you tried contacting Support for live troubleshooting?

yes, they said all my programming looked correct except for "ring when a line im monitoring rings" which, makes no sense for a park issue.

What exactly did they mention about that setting?

Also, are these RC or 3rd party phones? Do you know what firmware they are on?

i wasnt on site to make a change that would reboot my customers phones. i didnt think anythign regarding a monitored line ringing would make sense for putting calls on a park location so i didnt change anything. the phones are leased through RC and were shipped around 2/9. so id assume they were current firmware.

Hmm...I'm curious, have you tried enabling that last check box? And does the same thing happen?

so when using a "phantom extension" where your number is pointed to which rings a "group of phones". you still have to set your presence for the phantom extension and give it access to use the park.
