Phone swap issue

After a phone clearly died (Pop sound with burnt smell...) I tried to swap the phone with another one.

I get this message:

Change to Existing RingCentral Phone

We are sorry to inform you that you cannot proceed caused by internal error.

I tried with different phones we had that were unassigned with the same result...

I have seen similar messages with a few phones that had been added to a RC trial account - the MAC addresses still lived on somewhere in their system, and opening a support ticket with the MAC address of the phone(s) allows support to find and remove them so that you can add them. That may not be your specific issue - but opening a support ticket will be your best/quickest way to get the issue found and fixed.
