If your phone is not supported and is not on the List of Tested Phones with RingCentral but you still would like to try to provision it with RingCentral as a 3rd Party unsupported phone, it will need to be added to the account as an "other phone".

Once the "other phone" is added, you will then login to the IP Address of the device and input the provisioning information that the system provides.  As long as the phone lets you enter the phone registration information so it can contact our sip servers, this should not be an issue. However, as it is an unsupported device we cannot guarantee that it will register correctly with the system, nor that the phone will get all of the RingCentral functions or features.

This thread will have examples of how the below information is entered into an IP Address.
How do I manually provision my supported 3rd party Cisco or Polycom

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Deskphone: Polycom VVX 600 and 3rd party VVX d60.

Has anybody been able to get these two pair together?
I already have the VVX 600 working but I want to know first if the VVX D60 will work (with all the functionality from RC) before buying one.

We can make any promises, when, or if it will ever be supported, but, you can submit a feature request if you wish:  How do I submit a request for a new Idea or Feature?

We cannot provision our Polycom Conference phone to use the Ring Central features. What's the plan for provisioning the Polycom RealPresence Trio 8800? Thanks.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Cisco IP Phone SPA 525G phone set up.

I have a spa 525G that is 6 months old that I bought via amazon, but apparently it is much older and not supported under warranty.  I had it working find on my wi fi but just changed providers.  I have been able to get a wi fi signal to it by WPS on router ( bars are green on phone) but there is a red x beside that.  I need help setting it up correctly.  Thanks!

Hi all - I am really struggling to get the aforementioned phones up and running and cannot get help through cisco. I'd like to keep these since they have the HAC port for the jabra headsets I have. Has anyone gone through this process? I cannot access the phone through its IP address
