Does anyone have a configuration file they can post for the proper QoS settings on a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter? I personally have the EdgeRouter Lite-3, but I assume the same configuration would apply other other devices in that family. I found this document with technical details:

https://netstorage.ringcentral.com/documents/qos_in_enterprise_networks_whitepaper.pdf

That document is dated 02/2018 so it's fairly current and hopefully accurate.

It contains general information plus detailed instructions for a variety of Cisco, Juniper and other devices. I'm not smart enough to try these complex settings on my own network, and I'm hoping someone else out there has configured these Ubiquiti devices already.

If you can post the relevant slice of your configuration file it would save us a lot of time.

You can try merely enabling the advanced SmartQueue shaper with your upload & download minus 15% in the graphical interface.

This is the easiest way to get things going without any manual configuration.

You can test your before and after results with the dslreports speed test.

Otherwise, you can define things manually, which is needlessly complex.

ER-Lite can do approximately 100mbit with QoS enabled. If your connection is faster than that, you may run into issues.
