RingCentral App (Glip) - Change the Name Back Please!!!

After using the RC app, I have to say I am very disappointed in the performance and the inadequacy of the phone integration. First of all, we should be able to connect our Outlook contacts. The purpose of integrating the phone with Glip was to be able to actually eliminate the RC phone app, no?

Secondly, the name change. I was concerned about this from the get-go and it has proved problematic when trying to integrate our new-hires. They don't understand what Glip means and since this is one of our company wide applications, it is proving more difficult to integrate the new-hires. In addition, the icon does not have any indication that this is a chat program.

Third, since the phone integration, Glip runs much more slowly. I paste screenshots into Glip throughout the day and the ability to do so has significantly slowed down. This issue occurs with users in different offices, from homes, etc. It has proven very frustrating.

Please consider removing the phone integration until it has been fully vetted and includes Outlook contact integration. Also, I truly believe you would have happier customers if you changed the name back to Glip.

2018-09-21 If you are a SuperAdmin in the account, you can turn off the phone integration option in the Glip Administration panel.  I went through an updated Glip Administration demo with Ted Jaffe the Glip Team yesterday.

Quick follow-up on this -- I've also noticed that posting images in Glip chats & teams is way slow the last couple of days.

We turned off the phone integration and that resolved the slowness for posting images and files.
