Salesforce Integration needs to support inbound calls

We upgraded to premium so that we can use the SFDC Integration. However, it appears that the CTI softphone application that is installed does not support accepting/answering inbound calls. Support has let me know that a user has to have the RingCentral desktop application open to accept the call, even when they see the call pop in their Salesforce Phone widget.

This makes no sense, the point of having a softphone integrated into Salesforce is such that the user would not need any other desktop application open. The integration needs to be able to handle basic functionality such as accepting inbound calls.

Hi Will! I spoke with our Salesforce Product Team and they are working on adding this feature. There is no solid ETA at this time but they are shooting for sometime in 2019. When I learn more I'll share!
