Send call to voice mail automatically when on a call

When my agents are on a call and someone calls them, their phone still rings which is distracting and makes the caller wait needlessly. I would like to have incoming calls to an extension sent straight to voicemail when that user/extension is currently on a call.

Apologies if this has been requested or if it is already possible; I was told by RC support that the system doesn't support this and it seems like such a simple feature.

Hey Bill, I see a couple of options here to help with your scenario.  Depending on the IP phone you are using the second line could be disabled and the next call that comes in will go to VM and not disturb the person on the phone.

You could also use a call queue which by design is single threaded.  This may be a good fit for you also.  So I would have to see how your call flow is currently to see the best approach.
