Please provide a feature where if SMS senders attaches an image, contact, or any attachement to their SMS, it would send back an SMS to them that we support SMS text as of now so that they would be notified that the system supports only SMS text..

Not 100% that the feature requested was properly articulated. The request is that Ring Central auto generates a text reply informing the inbound sender of only the types of communication supported when the sender sends unsupported files, attachments, or data. The sender is currently under the impression (unless Ring Central informs them otherwise) that the picture, attachment, or file sent over SMS was accepted by the Ring Central Subscriber. This issue poses significant problems in many customer scenarios where information is submitted by a customer and neither party is aware of the failure of delivery.

Thanks for the clarification.  Just wanted to let you know that we do not have an ETA, but our product team is looking at adding MMS capability.  You can view and comment on the following topic if you wish. MMS/picture message ability

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled text auto reply.

For those of us who can't yet receive MMS could the sender at least get an auto-reply backing stating that the message can't be received?  Maybe too far into enabling this new feature to make sense to implement something like this, but we are just getting onboard with RC.
