Texting Web Application

Ring Central Team,

There are a number of web applications today that offer landline texting. Here are just a few...
  • TextUs
  • Zingle
  • Zipwhip
The main difference between these dedicated landline texting tools and RingCentral SMS is the web app. These apps have an interface that makes it easier to follow multiple text conversations. They also allow auto replies, have built in templates, allow group texting, etc.

Most of these ISVs also have a Chrome Extension. Your Chrome Extension is on par with these vendors. You are just missing the core texting web app.

How important is this feature to us? We send/receive about 20 voice calls a day. Yet we send/receive around 100 SMS texts a day.

We currently have RingCentral texting turned off due to the lack of a texting web app and are using one of the applications listed above.

Thanks for listening

Agree!
Texting is the number one way we communicate with customers.
SMS seems to be an after thought for RingCentral.
