When I receive a voice mail that I want handled by another colleague in my business, I transfer the voice mail to that person. Over the past 30 years of using VM every other provider permitted me to add a message for the recipient of the transferred VM so they know how to proceed (e.g., "call this person (who left the original VM) back and schedule a meeting on Tuesday", etc.). I consider this feature a basic requirement. of a business phone system provider. Because I travel and my colleagues do not spend their days on e-mail, the work around that was suggested to me by my implementation specialist to do this transfer via e-mail is not practical. Ring Central is a phone solution for my business, not an additional e-mail provider. Please let me know if this basic VM feature is in development and when I can expect it to go live. Thx.
